Today, I gave a presentation to my college class about life with Tourette syndrome. I only got 3 minutes into it before my asswipe classmates started yelling stuff like "Shit!", "Cock!", and "Bob Saget!" I gave up and went back to my seat in tears as our bored instructor said "Next." FML

Today, I was giving a presentation to my college class. I've had a natural stutter my whole life, so I stuttered through the whole thing. My professor tried to hold in her laughter for 15 minutes. FML

Today, while giving speech in class, I choked on my own spit and had a coughing fit while everyone stared at me intently. When I finally regained my composure, my teacher told me my time was up and to sit down. I hadn't even got finished the first paragraph. FML

Today, I was giving a presentation in front of my class. Mid-speech, I felt a sudden urge to sneeze and tried to hold it in. Instead, I let out the most obnoxious, window-rattling sneeze imaginable, complete with a spray of snot, which landed on my notes. I think I traumatized my classmates for life. FML

Today, I ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom. I was forced to use tissues to do the job. As if that wasn't bad enough, the sanitizer in the tissues gave me a rash that made me have to stand up frequently in the lecture hall. Several people asked if I had Tourette's. FML

Today, my professor gave me a huge lecture in front of the class about showing up sick, about how I was endangering the lives of other students, and kicked me out of class. As I left, everyone applauded. I'm not sick, but suffering for horrible allergies. FML

I would imagine that college students would have the maturity level to act like adults for a small portion of their life. But i guess some people can't. Sorry to hear Op. Some people still act like 7th graders even when they're adults and its a tad stupid to put it frankly

I have Tourette's too man and I know how hard that can be. There will always be assholes out there but I've found that the nice people far outnumber them. Just hang in there and you'll get through it.

Why the hell didn't your professor ask him to leave?! At my uni, if you pulled that stunt you'd get pulled through the coals for not showing another student respect. I'm so sorry this happened to you! Just remember that not everyone is a dick like him! I'd have happily listened to your speech if you were in my class!
