vector. bad bad "job" they almost scammed me too. suck that they kinda got you.
could be a legit pyramid scam. There's some loophole that makes them legal but really it's just a legal con job. some people make money out of them but it's alot of hardwork apparently and needs money to start.
@91...youre an idiot, just because its someone selling knives doesnt mean its cutco, there are a lot of scams like this
I had a job interview for Vector and got the job but when they asked for the 200 bucks I looked them up and learned the whole scam. Next time you get a job make sure to look them up first. Sorry you didn't realize soon enough! **** Cutco and Vector!
What about Avon, Mary Kay,Pampered Chef, Stampin' Up? They do the EXACT same thing and I bet no one here's gonna freak out just hearing the name of those companies. You people are ridiculous.
Ok....Vector is NOT a scam. They hire college kids because they are the easiest to "steal" money from. When they ask for the money for the demo kit, you will only see that money again if you ASK about it when you return it. They'll mention the refund for the demo kit when you're first hired, and when the time comes for the refund most college kids will have forgotten all about it. A good friend of mine worked for Vector for two years. She is an excellent sales person and did such a good job that she was awarded a nice knife set for selling so much of the product. She was paid regularly, but eventually quit because it required far too much time. She said it was a great job, but the people that you have to deal with are complete asses. If you stick it out for longer than one summer, you can blow off the "mandatory" weekly meetings and trainings, especially if you're selling enough of the product. Vector is just what you make of it....they are jerks in the way that they draw in college kids desperate for money, but they are honest business people if you are willing to do all of the bullshit they ask you to. They take advantage of the fact that the average college kid will do whatever they are told, no matter how absurd, just to keep the job- if it pays well enough.
lol I was about to do that.... but I told the lady to " kindly blow it out her ass "
