I think i'm the only one who thought of the episode of George Lopez when George has to fire his mom, lmao.
ouchs...sucks
Whilst you shouldn't have to do it. It's not as if you wanted to fire him, "Don't shoot the messenger" as they say.
well that would make him your not-to-be-soon father in law...time to start looking for a new job or a new boyfriend!!
Your The Chosen one NEO :)
Because he will be apart of your family soon, are you not able to request your boss to have someone else fire your in law instead? Either way it is going to suck but at least if you're not the one to can him it will be a bit easier to console him during that difficult time if need be.
Bad luck
Poor OP, that's why I never date anyone in the from the same company or work where my families work.
Have a solution for you: fire him and break the engagement. Do not forget to invite me to a freedom party ;)
Conflict of interest? Could you refuse on that ground and have somebody else take over this particular "case"? You can always offer to help out with their workload instead
Keywords
Ask if someone else can let him go. Say it's a conflict of interest
I think your name sums it up.
