I hope you are more upset at the fact that your parents are getting divorced rather than the fact that your dad ruined your moment. Either way, congratulations on getting accepted into college. That's a great accomplishment.
WIt's great you got into a good school and all but your parents are getting divorced! Whether it has been a long time coming or not it will be extremely emotional for both of them and can lead to major depression among other things. You need to get your head out of your selfish ass and be there for your parents. Celebrating can happen anytime but they need you now.
Oh, it sucks when u can never make dad proud, congrats tho
Is everybody going to say "Moment ruined." Now?
Offer on the 5th? Cambridge I'm guessing, congrats!
The same thing happened to me, except not at the exact same time, I don't think they waited for me to get accepted :D To add to the fun I had a conditional offer and UCAS didn't give proof of my grades, they lost them or something.. But my parents weren't exactly jumping with joy when I got accepted.
I'm sorry OP.

What a great way to ruin a moment... I'd flip
Congratulations OP. Hang in there, and don't let their problems over shadow your success!
