Same with me- boyfriend told me to try the beta (I was dead-set against paying monthly for a GAME), got instantly hooked. Four years later, my boyfriend and I are still playing WoW together when we can't be together IRL. Turned out to be a great thing for us! ^^

Hilariously simple FML. I love these one-liners. It happened to me with Second Life because I saw it on The Office(American version). However, I wasn't good enough with computers to design anything to sell on there, so it wasn't that fun for me and a waste of money. I'm sure I'd enjoy WoW, but I don't have the time nor money now to get involved with anything like that.
