Same with me- boyfriend told me to try the beta (I was dead-set against paying monthly for a GAME), got instantly hooked. Four years later, my boyfriend and I are still playing WoW together when we can't be together IRL. Turned out to be a great thing for us! ^^

what's wrong with wow I mean it's a great game and the people that say "get a life" or "wow sucks get out while you can" are just idiots that have never played the game. if you start playing runescape you have hit rock bottom because runescape is the worst mmorpg and I've played some really bad ones

I don't get what the big deal is. I played Runescape for literally 2 hours almost 3 years ago. No doubt my avatar is lost in cyberspace. W.o.W doesn't seem that much more daunting. I think I'm gonna try it :).
