The problem with WOW is not the game itself. It's the people who play it. I have never known a WOW-player who has any life to speak of outside of the game. Then again, after meeting one group of people who played, I ran faaaaar away from any others. Show me someone who actively plays WOW and has a semblance of a life and I'll change my mind. Until then... ugh.
Clubs monthly if not weekly. Party every weekend. Work and spend most of my time out of the house, lazy weekend spent on World of warcraft because sometimes there hust isnt anything to do or people aren't home etc.

Same with me- boyfriend told me to try the beta (I was dead-set against paying monthly for a GAME), got instantly hooked. Four years later, my boyfriend and I are still playing WoW together when we can't be together IRL. Turned out to be a great thing for us! ^^
Your life truly has no meaning now....
