Same with me- boyfriend told me to try the beta (I was dead-set against paying monthly for a GAME), got instantly hooked. Four years later, my boyfriend and I are still playing WoW together when we can't be together IRL. Turned out to be a great thing for us! ^^

after reading the comments i never want to try WOW. i get addicted really easily, wasted 2 years of my life playing RUNESCAPE. i envy the people who can play on and off.
