I'm with number 8, I think that's wrongful termination, especially because there's no real proof you said it and assuming your place of work has cameras, there's generally one outside the bosses office. Talk to a lawyer.

How can the same action qualify as being jerky AND funny entirely dependant on whether or not the offender says "It was just a joke"? No, the coworker is an ass regardless of whether they meant it as a joke or not. Getting somebody fired is never funny.
