Today, I got hit on by an attractive young doctor. After talking for a while we realized that we recognized each other but couldn't figure out how. Then he remembered. He was the one who'd delivered my 10 1/2 lb baby 7 months ago. I stood out because my vag tore worse than anything he'd ever seen. FML

Honestly it was 100% my fault I teared. Going deep in the realm of TMI this is pretty much what happened. I didn't have an epidural so I was feeling the "ring of fire" like a mofo but he had told me to hold off on pushing for a moment because he was trying to relubricate and massage me open more so I could push my sons head out. Would have worked fine if I hadn't had a crazy intense contraction which made me push extremely hard while his fingers were in there, which made me tear right through. He did an amazing job stitching me up. Really after he realized who I was his interest was more in how I healed and if he stitched me up ok. Apparently he was super new and it was only his 4th day working in the hospital as an attending doctor. He was great though. I was really happy with my experience overall, except for the tearing through to my butthole part.

Honestly all I can say is bless your heart for going through that

That sounds incredibly painful. Probably not a turn on for him either. Sorry about that.

He's seen what kind of shape it's in and he still wants a round. If anything, your life is going pretty well.

That must have been excruciating at the time and embarrassing to recollect - but at least he recognised your face. And nowhere did OP say she was hitting on him, you guys. So ease up about her having a baby and checking out other guys!

Also, it feels nice if, after basically being a walking milk jug for months, to be in any way acknowledged as a woman again, not only as a mommy, even if you are not seriously interested.

You guys move pretty fast. You've met twice, and he's already seen your ****** and met your child.

Doctor-patient sexual relationships are unethical, even if you are not currently a patient. I believe the punishment in the area where you live is a 5 year suspension of his license. The doctor should know this and should not have attempted to form an inappropriate relationship with you. He's acting unethically and honestly, do you want to be in a relationship who is unethical? ... and who might be out of a job for 5 years?

He didn't recognize her and didn't realize she had been a patient. Plus, if he didn't recognize her, I'm going to assume he is not her regular doctor.

After reading these comments, I can safely say that I am never, ever, ever opening my legs ever again. Not even to pee.

OP, if you plan to have another child, try starting to massage and stretch the skin around your vulva with plain almond oil daily at least two, up to four weeks prior to your anticipated delivery date. If you can't reach let your partner do it. It's what my midwife told me to do, and it totally works. My second son had his hands up dive style when I pushed him out, so I had to pass his head and arms through at the same time, and nothing tore. Another midwife who works in a hospital has kept statistics of women tearing or not, and how badly, and if they did the massages or not, and a significantly lower percentage of women who did the massages tore during birth, and non of them tore really badly.

Um I've had 3 babies. Pretty sure I remember every single one of the Dr.s that delivered them. Wth? That's on you girly.

You do realize not everyone has the same experience, right? Actually, I'm positive you realize that since you've had three different children and I bet three different experiences. Also, not everyone's great with faces, names or people in general.
