mobigomo tells us more.
Honestly it was 100% my fault I teared. Going deep in the realm of TMI this is pretty much what happened. I didn't have an epidural so I was feeling the "ring of fire" like a mofo but he had told me to hold off on pushing for a moment because he was trying to relubricate and massage me open more so I could push my sons head out. Would have worked fine if I hadn't had a crazy intense contraction which made me push extremely hard while his fingers were in there, which made me tear right through. He did an amazing job stitching me up. Really after he realized who I was his interest was more in how I healed and if he stitched me up ok. Apparently he was super new and it was only his 4th day working in the hospital as an attending doctor. He was great though. I was really happy with my experience overall, except for the tearing through to my butthole part.

Hats off to you
It depends where the tear is, 3rd degree they cut, 2nd degree they don't, my lovely midwife tried to hold me together but I still tore. Tmi. I know.
I'm sorry, but I can understand if he delivered the baby 17 years ago, or even 3 years ago. Bt 7 months??? If it was a ten pound baby and you tore that bad and he remembered it, I sure you knew exactly who you were talking to
Women look very different when they are having a baby. Sweating, half naked, legs in the air. He also wasn't looking at her face.
I don't remember anything about my delivering Dr except she was a women. I also don't remember anything about my time in the hospital either. Try having a baby and see what you remember exactly with no pain meds.
I can tell you my doctors hair color and that she was a bitch but other than that I can't recall what she looked like. when you're busy pushing and breathing the last thing on your mind is "oh I'm going to remember this doctor". Some women are lucky and get the same doctor from conception to birth but most women are surprised on who is walking in to deliver that day. (army wife here so it was a lottery on who I got)
That's TEARable! Lol sorry, that's really awful.
Oh the joys of motherhood! At least you got your wonderful baby out of it!
and then? what did he stop hitting on you? if so he's an asshole anyway
Well, after reading some of the comments and being astounded that you pushed out a 10 1/2 pound baby, I can officially say my baby fever is gone. Ouch..
Is wreck it Ralph the father?
I'm sorry, I had to click "YDI" Because the number was 666... I couldn't have that.
At first i read it as 10 1/2 inch. Ouch that hurts

Honestly all I can say is bless your heart for going through that
That sounds incredibly painful. Probably not a turn on for him either. Sorry about that.
