YDI. So you scoff at the teachers assignment, but you still think you're the victim? The futility of Socialism might not be the most relevant theme in the series but it is certainly there. If you debunk the assignment, the other students are more likely to not take it seriously. I don't blame the teacher, I credit him/her for applying discipline you sound extremely spoiled.
If you don't understand why there is 'futility of socialism' in the series, then you can't write about it.
scoff? Where the hell did you read that? Reacting in disbelief means something else to me... And if you can't handle one student reacting to one assignment, than maybe you shouldn't be a teacher at all...
Either way you have to do the assignment...but still your point is relevant...
I grew up on Harry Potter, I would risk Detention if my teacher told me to write any essay that would make it look bad.
Do you still have to write the paper?
Silly muggle.
I ask for another teacher op I mean really Harry Potter oh God please let my nieces and Nephew get a good education
Dumb teacher is dumb.
That's not fair. She should encourage your thinking and challenge it for the mental health of everyone. Sorry your teachers an idiot.

Stupid teachers make me concerned for future generations.
This worries me... Shouldn't teachers praise students having opinions, instead of punishing for thinking?
