Keep the water. If you don't have electric, you won't be able to write anymore inane FML's like this one and the world will be a better place.

Don't know about France but in England they can't cut your water because it's essential for life so I'd pay the electricity but obviously it may be different there.

Obviously depending on the situation and where you live this may not work... but if you live in a place that is cold enough it is illegal for them to turn off your electricity and leave you without heat regardless of your ability to pay. Pay your water and hope the electric company will help you out!

Your electric company may be able to prorate your bill or help you in another way. Try churches and charitable organizations. Do it before your service is cut - if it is then you must pay the full balance before having your service restored.

ok so without electricity how will she heat all that nice frezing cold water to her shower

uhhh, i'm trying to say this in the nicest way. THIS WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE INTERNET. i had to say it. sorry.

cancel your internet instead of your utilities, and maybe instead of posting stupid FMLs get a goddamn job

well, if you could read, you would clearly see that this was sent from a CELL PHONE. not internet. the person probably texted it in or something. And obviously they have a Job. Anyways O.P, get rid of your texting. And pay the water bill first. Nobody likes smelly people. That could get you fired. :P

Call the electric and water company and make payment arrangements so you can keep them both.
