Talk to a lawyer. If that part about your contact is true, you might be able to claim wrongful termination.
If it was in the contract then they violated their contract and its false termination due to them not keeping up their part of the bargain.
The thing about company phones is that people are often given a choice, get and use a company phone or use your personal phone and get a small "bonus" that is probably the price of the phone bill each month. If OP chose to get the money, they wouldn't give him or her a phone, and they hold up their end of the bargain.
breach of contract. threaten to get a lawyer if you want to keep your job, or actually get a lawyer and squeeze some money out of them.
filing a complaint is the right thing to do
Unless someone was dead or dying it wasn't really all that important.
Breach of Contract! Talk to HR; go to labour board. If you genuinely liked your job you should fight for it, and at least keep it until you can find other work!
This is when you file a law suit.
you certainly need to do something about these people. if they fired you for not answering your personal phone....AND it goes against the contract... imagine what other b.s they're pulling.
Sue sue sue. The law is on your side in this case, do not let these criminals get away with setting you up. Cuz that's what happened. This was deliberate.
You can sue for breach of contract.

Well that's something you should take to court. If it's in the contract then they will have to give you your job back and the phone.
