Wouldn't a booster seat just make you further from the petals, though? I knew someone so short that she had to have her airbags removed because she sat so close to the wheel that she would have likely died if they ever deployed.
That is not legal and in most cases would not pass inspection. Insurance will not cover either.
you can purchase extended pedals. also, removing airbags is illegal and they should just get an older model car without airbags
I actually have a "seat booster" for my patrol car. I have plenty of leg length, but a short torso. The big guys break down the seats, so they don't go up as much. The cars do have electronic pedal adjusters. So, at least it's consistent even for police...because it was department issued. So I feel you.
Isn't this for your safety though? It sucks you need one but if you need it, then you should use it. For your safety and others'.
Legally he could not have pulled you over for that in most states you could always try a settlement case
Op was pulled over for looking like a kid, not a different skin color. There is absolutely no case there.
been there op, sorry.
I'm 4'8 and I drive a chevy pickup truck. So I look really tiny. I do appreciate the fact that the officer noticed small details like this. I do have to use a booster seat and pedal extensions from now on. He definitely felt bad when he realized I am not a kid!

Apparently, "you must be this tall to ride" doesn't only apply to amusement park rides.
How tall are you ? ?
