Today, I got pulled over, not because I was speeding but because apparently, I looked like a kid driving. The officer said I was too short to drive and needed a booster seat. FML

Apparently, "you must be this tall to ride" doesn't only apply to amusement park rides.

To be fair, you may just need a different car. I'm slightly above average in height but I have been behind the wheel of cars where it was difficult to see over the dashboard. I've also been in cars where the dash was so low that I had to scrunch down just to see the instrument panel.

Especially sports cars. I've tried several mustangs where it seems like I have a foot tall windshield to see out of.

Hey, the best things come in small packages. :D

Me too op :( I'm 24 and people tell me all the time I look like a child driving bigger cars, which is why I always stuck with small ones. I'm home for two months during a military pcs... My mom refuses to let me rent a car or get a bike. Instead, she's trying to force her H3 on me. I can hardly see out of it. Good luck :/

This is actually a thing. There's a code for it just like there is for corrective lenses or hand-controlled pedals. My Grandmama, who was only 4'9", had this on her license and was required to sit on a cushion to drive.

That's ok. the very first time I drove, it was just in my neighborhood and a cop stopped me and asked if I was old enough to drive.
