Today, I got to go back into my house after it had been tented. Suddenly, a foul stench filled my house. My husband checked all around the house and finally checked under the house. There were more than 12 dead stray cats under our house, and guess who was in charge of pulling them out? FML

Wow... You managed to mention the word "house" 5 times within that little space...

What in the world does it mean for a house to be "tented"? sorry... english is not my first language and i am not familiar with the terminology Someone please explain?

Don't confuse what people write here with English. "Tented" is not English. The OP apparently couldn't be bothered to explain it properly. In other words, don't feel bad that you have to ask :-)

Tented is English. You want her to say "I got to go back into my house after it had been covered with a tarp so exterminators could kill the pests inside with pesticide"? There's a character limit. Although she could have done without saying 'house' 5 times.

I think there's a number of us who don't know what 'tented' means. Therefore, YES, she should have clarified. For a while I wondered if she meant 'tenanted', which would explain her not noticing the cats before.

They put a large tent over the entire house and then pump it full of poison gas to kill everything inside (pests)

awwww poor cats.... and y did u have to do it and not him

i don't even know, all i read was bla bla bla house bla bla house

I don't feel sorry for you at all. I'm with the others who said how could you possibly not know there were 12 cats living under your house? I could see if it was one or two, but there's no way someone wouldn't notice 12.

It's a little glimpse of your future. You will kill your husband for making you pull out those cats, but ultimately you end up a cat lady with twelve cats who all die simultaneously. Ah, the irony.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the OP says "more than 12"? Why not say "more than 10" or else just say the exact number? Not that it matters in the slightest, but I thought it was an odd way of saying it.

ha that's like the first thing i noticed... i thought other people would have too! it's like there were 13 cats but she didn't want to say the number 13... or she made it up. which is most likely
