Today, I got to go back into my house after it had been tented. Suddenly, a foul stench filled my house. My husband checked all around the house and finally checked under the house. There were more than 12 dead stray cats under our house, and guess who was in charge of pulling them out? FML

Why didn't you notice a shit load of cats living under your house? 12 strays you'd of seen them coming and going, making noises and smell the cat shit.

My guess is that it is the exterminator's job. But if it turns out to be your job, "Hey, man, we're in a recession! Be glad you have a job!" Because you are filthy people who needed your house tented and the cats are gone, your rat problem is going to be astronomical. Read 1984 or rent "Willard."

I really don't understand how you didn't hear them meowing and pooping and all that exciting stuff.

Alright, all of those who say the OP must be nasty because they had to have the house tented must have never owned his or her own home. They are called termintes and aren't caused from living conditions. They are a common occurance in houses in Cali. Also if the house is in good condition the OP WOULDN'T have heard or smelled the cats and couldn't have know. Stupid cats should have bolted...

Sorry, but regardless of how good of condition the house is, you would know if you had that many animals living under it. There would be a a path(s) where they came in and out and most likely spots that were dug out for easy access. Not to mention that constant question of "where the hell are all these cats in my yard coming from?" You are right though, having your house tented doesn't mean the place is a shithole. Termites, roaches, rats etc... doesn't matter how clean your house is. A lot of times you get those things because your neighbor has em and they treat and drive them out to your house.
