Today, I got written up for drinking on the job by a manager who drinks on the job, who was told to write me up by a general manager who drinks on the job, and we are all employed by an owner who drinks on the job. I haven't had a drink in 3 weeks. FML

DJJayLee tells us more.

strip clubs aren't union. we have a total of 14 employees at this club and the GM would rather fire everyone and hire new people than deal with that. I'm 1 of 3 that have worked here longer than a year.

Where on earth do you work, the liquor store?

Really hoping none of your bosses opperate heavey machinery at your place of work.

Take the opportunity to find a better club. Sounds like they don't like long term employees, and god knows Vegas has enough clubs

i hope everything worked out in the end

If you lot read the follow up comments (yes, I'm aware you probably commented before they were made), you'll realise OP was actually written up for the time he had been drinking three weeks prior. I find it so ridiculous that people jump on the "you're wrong" bandwagon when someone makes a legitimate comment. It wasn't stated that OP was written up for drinking at that exact time, and you've all just proven that jumping to conclusions is wrong. Congratulations, who looks "really silly" now? *prepares for downvotes, doesn't give a shit*

I think I have it figured out. If you start drinking on the job they won't write you up for drinking on the job! Lmfao really fyl man.

You shouldn't ever drink at work, even if everyone around you is doing it. The only time you can drink on the job is if your job requires it. Just my opinion. Anyways, the world is full of hypocrites, just be strong and hopefully everything will be alright in the end.

if you read his posts, he was drinking after they were closed and he was done for the day.

#114: Yes, but now he knows that he can get "burned" later on regardless of when during the workday he consumed liquor. It's in his best interests now not to ever drink again at work (which sucks, I know).
