Today, I got written up for drinking on the job by a manager who drinks on the job, who was told to write me up by a general manager who drinks on the job, and we are all employed by an owner who drinks on the job. I haven't had a drink in 3 weeks. FML

DJJayLee tells us more.

strip clubs aren't union. we have a total of 14 employees at this club and the GM would rather fire everyone and hire new people than deal with that. I'm 1 of 3 that have worked here longer than a year.

Where on earth do you work, the liquor store?

You're a disgusting ***** anyway

One. Strip clubs are actually nice places sometimes. Two he's a guy. He can do whatever he wants. Three **** you!

Plus ****** are girls. Get your facts straight bitch!

Reading this when sleep deprived is too much of a damn chore.

May be you not being drunk is the problem. Hmmmm.....

Report them for drinking and driving one night

I'm assuming if you know that your boss, the general manager and the owner all drink on the job, and they know you do, or did up until 3 weeks ago, then they're probably aware of each other's bourbon breakfast's, liquid lunches and bubbly breaks. Is it possible that this is a situation where the bottle rolls down hill and you're being targeted to deflect the attention from them? If so, I'd recommend hiring an alcoholic assistant to keep the trend going. Preferably a cute female who can handle her booze and loves to cut it loose on the clock. Because drunk or not, or unless you work at a men's clothing store, there don't seem to be enough gender diversity at your place of employment. Unless that's why everybody is staying plastered around there in the first place.

#115: Wtf? He works at a strip club where there's just as many gals - if not more - as guys working. And being the dj - not owner or manager - how would he ever get permission to get an assistant esp. for one whose job duties are solely drinking liquor (aka profits)? Duh!

#115: The gals who do drink liquor do so either for "liquid courage," to encourage customer spending, and/or as a perk (just like the mgrs & owners). Have you actually ever patronized a strip club? If so, then you would understand the dynamics, reqts, & stresses of that particular type of workplace by those that work there.
