Today, I got yelled at by a man for not opening my store 10-15 minutes before the scheduled opening time, which made his 84-year-old wife shit her pants waiting to get in. It didn't matter when I explained I had no way to know she needed to use the restroom. FML

In the time they spent standing outside your shop, they probably could have found a bathroom. Not your fault, especially since you didn't know and you weren't supposed to be open anyway. I do feel bad for the lady though.

In all honesty I'm surprised the man yelled at you. Like your wife just shit her pants and instead of getting her home you go into the store to yell at someone for no reason. Poor woman must have been so embarrassed.

I've worked in retail and call centers, and sadly, it doesn't surprise me that the man felt it necessary to yell at the OP. It seems like a lot of people expect workers to be psychic, and are irrationally angry when they find that we're not.
