People should be allowed to have kids if they want to, but they should have to take a test to prove that they're responsible enough to raise them. If you can't pass the test, your kid gets adopted by someone else.

Sounds like your mom is not and has not been able to handle her own responsibilities and is projecting it onto you. It sounds weird, but try not to take it personally. I'm glad you have a good relationship with your aunt at least.
