Today, I had a big figure skating competition. Many of the girls before me fell or did not execute their jumps correctly. Me? I skated a flawless program. I was placed last because they said I didn't push myself hard enough to the point of falling. FML

That makes absolutely zero sense...

If at first you don't fail, try, try again.

Welcome to the world of figure skating. You dont have to be good, just have connections.

That is such bullshit that has to be a rigged competition The same shit happened to me in choir I did way better than the other guy yet I was not even on the roster as my other friends who I ******* trained made it, I hate that shit

It's likely that the OP's program was much easier to do than the other girls there. Sure, they fell, but maybe they had programs with a ton more difficult jumps, which would be the reason why they fell.

I'm sorry! I hope that next time you compete, you've judges who see your talent and place you in accordance with the rules. People can be illogical at times, but don't let this stop you from trying!

Isn't the point not to fall?

Figure skating is one of my favourite things ever. I really admire people who work so hard and master this beautiful sport/art. Don't let this slow you down, not all the judges are morons, keep skating!

Could it be that other girls' programs were more difficult? If not, you should appellate.

Did you check the judges scores report after? In this report you can see exactly what you got your points for and why you did not beat the others. Also who said you didn't push yourself enough? The judges? Did you go and talk to each of them? If yes they probably meant you should increase difficulty

Was this ISU or USFS? If it was USFS check your component scores and what jumps you attempted versus them
