This is so crazy because i guy said the same to me. Whenever i tried to end it he would text me days later telling me he was in the hospital for cutting. I felt trapped and had no idea how to get out of the relationship. Try slowly being more of a friend to her instead of a lover and maybe she'll lose feelings for you

OP here. I didn't break up with her and this was from a while ago. We are now engaged. Thank you for everyone's concerns about that though. She has quit cutting and is now 1 1/2 months pregnant. She told me the reason she cut in the first place was because of her abusive ex boyfriend and didn't want to be put through that again, so she didn't want me too break her heart like he did. We have 5 more months and then we are married. Bye!
