Did he say "I love you too"?
What if he's like," AWWWW
Haha! This reminds me of a Gossip Girl episode. Blair is trying to impress the interviewer in order to get into Yale, so she ends up kissing him on his cheek as she walks out the door. Awkward first impression!
The real FML comes when he gives you the job and expects you to "love" him regularly.
I've done shit like this. Makes me gag thinking about it, but I've said it to my sister called her "babe" because it was a habit I had with my girlfriend. Not sure why. The closing conversation thing I understand. Ending phone conversations can be uncomfortable. Do I say bye, do they first? Then there's the weird 'someone has to break this conversation up first' preparing statement like "Well... I've gotta get in the shower and go to work, so I better go.." And those ALWAYS sound fake.
lol, that sucks =P Hitting on your boss already and not even got the job yet...tut tut =P

Haha, that really makes sense though, since it is mostly a reflex to say 'Love you' at the end of a phone conversation. But perhaps it'll get you brownie points? "No, no, I want to hire that one guy. He said he loves me."
oops, you must have been nervous
