And THAT's why nobody at work is on my Facebook.
That's why you don't make facebook friends with your co-workers, ever!
It's kind of sad that your mom chose to post on Facebook instead of call/SMS/email/messaging you.. There's a reason I'm not friends with either of my parents on Facebook. If you expected your mom to do something silly like post it for the world to see, maybe you shouldn't have told her, (or 'friended' her).
Ddelete the comment quickly and explain to your Mum why you had to delete it?
So what? He can't do anything, if you want a new job, that's your choice. I've told several of my colleagues at the place I've been working at for over a year that I'm looking for a new job.
why don't you delete it?
This is why you shouldn't be friends on Facebook with your own parents. Same applies for colleagues!

If you wanted to keep it secret, why would you tell anyone period?
This is why I don't like Facebook. No bloody privacy. I honestly don't get this need to share every part of your life with everyone.
