Today, I had an in-depth conversation at work about how technically Luke Skywalker was never a Jedi Master. Highlight of my working day. FML

Hard day at work I see. Luke does become a Jedi master, just not in the first 2 trilogies.

I agree good sir. That sounds like a fun time at work to me. I wish my employees would grace me with a conversation like that, instead of the "guess what my girlfriend did or did not do" variety.

Better then an in-depth conversation between co-workers comparing their light sabers. Lol

Find your force, Luke, find your force...

That doesn't make any sense. Jedi Master is an official title. There was no Jedi Order in Luke Skywalker's time so technically speaking, Luke could have saved the Jedi from extinction (oh wait, he did!) and not get a title of mastery because there was no one to give it to him..

true, but post-Empire Luke is responsible for the reconstruction of the Jedi Order. I may be wrong, but being that he is technically the founder of the new order and that "Master" status was given to those who'd passed Trials of Knighthood (modifications withstanding) and showed great mastery of the Force, it's safe to say Luke eventually became a Jedi Master.

Star Wars conversations are worthwhile in any setting

Well obviously you didn't do your homework because Luke DOES become a Jedi Master...just not in the movies....

So we settled that question. But was it ethical to kill all those subcontractors working on the Death Star?
