Today, I had environmental science class. My teacher doesn't believe humans are affecting climate change or that we should protect endangered species. He slants class discussions so now all my classmates agree with him. FML

Sounds like people like you are going extinct in your class...

I'm a conservative person but tend to go away from the conservative norm when it comes to this topic. There are too many of "my kind" that look the other way and ignore facts when it comes to climate change, it's just sad.

Do you go to a school in the south cause my friend also has an environmental studies teacher that's backwards about climate change. It's amazing how someone gets a doctorate to teach in a college while not understanding that 7 billion people have an effect on the place they live.

How the hell is this man an environmental science teacher with that mentality?

How can anyone deny climate change and the direct impact humans have had on it? At this point there's so much evidence it's almost impossible to argue against. I'm sorry your teacher and classmates are morons but take solace in the fact that you're smarter than them and actually recognize that we're destroying our planet.

Better get with the program, this is the New and Improved Education in America.

Even if you have to do do it anonymously, I would report this to management at your school. He should be teaching accurate environmental science, not indoctrinating the class in his ignorance. It's like someone agreeing to teach a science class and then telling students that evolution isn't real.

So somebody teaches a dissenting opinion and you get upset? Challenge him, grow up, and stop whining. I know this site slants left, but Jesus.

No, it's about a science teacher denying science.
