Today, I had gone to the store and bought a new wallet. 5 minutes later a security guard asks for my receipt. Turns out I had dropped my receipt. Some guy had picked it up and pretended I had stole his wallet. The guard confiscated my wallet because the guy had "his" receipt to prove it. FML

Didn't the sales person remember you?

yea, ask for the salesperson. ask the security to check the cameras. there is always a camera above the cashier.

your a retard you could have shown your ID this is fake shit

don't they have cameras? talk to management

You'd think the cashier that you paid would recognize you.

okay stupid people, how could he have anything in the wallet if he JUST bought it..

The servility guard wouldn't have given it to him he would have checked your drivers license and looked if the credit cards where in the same name please the the person who served you would remember you

I don't know if you paid by card or not, but if you did, then the last 4 digits of the card number should be on the receipt. Show the security guard your card, with your name & that card number on it & some kind of ID that proves that the name belongs to you. The security guard obviously isn't a very good one, though, & the guy who stole your wallet is an asshole.

Don't you have I.D. to show so you can watch them both be stupid?

If you paid with a credit card, doesn't it say it and the number on the receipt?
