Kind of a random thing to say. Not all kids who have sweet sixteens (read: LOTS of kids) are spoiled brats. I know you said "if," but still, where did you even bother saying that? OP, that sucks. He'll regret it when word gets around that he's a douche. No one will want to date him then. :]

When someone you care about makes a concerted effort to hurt and embarrass you in front of all your friends and loved ones it's a pretty big deal... no matter how old you are. The guy is an ass, and no matter how much it may hurt now you are SO much better off without him.
