I'm gonna take a wild guess here and assume that the patient came to him. Unless Doc happened to be wandering around somewhere in the middle of nowhere, saw the patient, pulled an xray machine out of his back pocket, took the xray then proceded to remove the bottle then and there. *shrugs* What do I know anyways

I'd say how inappropriate this is depends on A) how close she is with her friends. And B) how much you trust her. If she's never been unfaithful and she thinks of her friends as brothers then you probably don't have to worry as much.
