YDI for being a fatass.
Sometimes the seats in movie theaters are pretty small. I've read that some of the older theaters have seats designed for a 150 lb. person, even though the average American is closer to 175 lbs, and more than 2/3 of the country is overweight, so they'll be higher than 175. Regardless, OP didn't say the movie theater was stupid, he didn't call the seats small, he didn't start yelling at anyone, he didn't start blaming society or a medical condition for his weight. He just went home, sad :(. Have a bit of compassion, all you mean, nasty people.
Lemme guess...'thyroid problems'?
If OP is overweight because of a disease: FYL If OP is overweight because they eat things that made them overweight: FYL as well I'm so, so sorry that this happened to you, OP, and I'm absolutely disgusted by everyone claiming that if you "made yourself fat", you deserve to be publicly humiliated. Truth is, obesity can be caused, directly or indirectly, by a number of physical and mental illnesses or by poverty, but that doesn't matter, because you have a right to your own bodily autonomy and you don't deserve to be questioned for it. If you're overweight, this sort of thing might happen simply because of our society, but it absolutely shouldn't. FYL indeed. Also, there are many theaters where you can lift up the armrests, and I've even seen some with "cuddle seats" that are twice as wide as normal seats. That may be something to look into. Good luck in the future, and please don't let all these negative comments get you down!
I get the message you are trying to say, but you should have proof read it because you said this person SHOULD be publicly humiliated...
From one heavier person to another, it's ok. We have all been there. Just give watching what you are eating a try and go from there. Working out for an hour is part of the battle, the rest is watching what's on your plate for the other 23

I would say you deserve it, but we don't know the circumstances here. So in the nicest way possible, let this be motivation to lose weight. Do it the healthy way and you can only benefit. Good luck! :)
If I'm honest it's a YDI, although the seats could be small in general...
