Today, I had to proof-read a terrible paper containing a bunch of mistakes. It took me 4 hours and I didn't eat dinner until I was done. His response when he got it back was, "What the fuck did you do to my paper?! You bitch!" FML

"I took all of the stupid out of it! " Too bad you can't do that with people. Sorry, OP, FYL!

He's just pissed off that you could improve on his work that he thought was perfect.

#57, I think you are suffering from what C programmers call an "off by one error." The cheese story was the one just before this, and that's what you get for using zero-based arrays.

"use it the way it is then !!" shoukd have said

Who exactly is "he"? A coworker, classmate, your boyfriend?

Did you change bits around in it too? I do that sometimes if I think it would sound better - or say they could use different words if they use the the same two in a sentence. I can imagine he might be annoyed if you changed everything but if it was just the spelling then you were doing what he asked you to do - and even if he didn't like it, he could still appreciate the effort you put into it and be polite about it.

Some people are jsut ungrateful.

Whose paper was it? You didn't say.

If the dumb shit doesn't want to learn, let them fail.

If it makes you feel any better, I had to review and revise a peer's paper that was written "ju$+ |ik3 +#!$" for ten pages.
