Watch you get in trouble for skipping class....
*Again.
Speaking from experience, the school either already knows you have a court date or they will give you a note to excuse your absence. Depending on the state, they can be very strict regarding truancy. In my county (in texas), if you miss more than 3 partial or whole days, you receive a notice that you're due in court. If you don't show, they put out a warrant for your arrest. Or they'll arrest you whenever you do show up to court. I've seen it happen a few times. This was years ago though, things may have changed.
It has changed. Last year I missed 9 full days and two partial and had to do credit restoration only. They didn't care that much, at least at my school, unless you missed 2nd period because second period is the class where the attendance determines funding. I graduated this summer.
c'mon, surely you coulda explained your situation to your teacher? YDI for not really thinking it through
can you say "irony"?
Bring a letter from the court...
Stinks to be you.
Stay your ass in school and you won't be in court
lol the irony though
When the make you start going to teen court you'll probably enjoy school more.!
Priorities first...

Let's be honest, you could easily have avoided that situation by actually turning up to class in the first place.
