their married not single. if the person you love for who they are and will spend the rest off your life with got something you don't like you would not like it and yes you would care. we know it's the 21st but do know you do this when you married. 1. she agrees so she does not mind it. 2. if he was controlling she would not get the tattoo and would be having anal already. 3. this is normal for married couples.

@jcap - Calm down. They're married, that means that they've made a commitment to each other for the rest of their lives. So, if one of them does something to their body that the other doesn't find attractive, it affects both people. This is why they should have talked about her getting one. The OP never used the word permission, she used the word negotiate, which could just mean the hubby used this as a chance to negotiate for anal. However the point stands, if the husband doesn't find tattoos attractive then she should talk to him about it because I can't imagine she wants him to stop finding her attractive, and therefore can compromise on the size and place of it to best suit both. Also, Dragons is correct, if the husband really was as controlling as you've made out he would already be making her have anal and would have said no full stop.
