did u drop-kick them when u got down the mountain?
Lol. Is drop-kicking your reply to everything?
damn I would say sorry. but that is the first thing you should have made sure u had
why do the YDIs outnumber FYLs??? what's wrong with being forgetful? FORGET YOU
I think my issue with this is that the OP makes it seem the ONLY reason for hiking is to make a call on their cell. If that was your main purpose how could you forget your phone? Wouldn't that be the thing you check, recheck and triple check you bring? Now if the OP was just going on a hike with the fam and left their phone at home I get that. It must suck. However, the way it is written it seems like the only motivation for a hike was to use their phone and in that case the OP deserves it.
OP is trolling
skeeter, the only blue black guy that ever lived
So what? You can't go a few hours without checking your friends facebook updates and texts? YDI. Of course it could have been worse you know. You could have gotten to the top of the mountain, held the phone up for signal and then dropped it down the side of the mountain.

it's not going to kill you to go a few hours without the phone. And if it does YDI for not bringing a first aid kid.
