Today, I have to pack for tomorrow's family vacation. For one week I get to be stuck in a one bedroom cabin with my alcoholic father, bipolar mother, and two much younger siblings who have a passion for screaming. FML

Get your mum to take tablets, my brother just got diagnosed with bipolar and he has some tablets that makes him normal :)

That really sucks OP, my family setup is pretty much the same. Unfortunately, despite my attempts to help my parents (I was more of a parent to them than they ever were to me or my brothers), it all ended in a situation that's best avoided if at all possible... I'd recommend that you move out as soon as you can, it's the only real solution I've found, anyway.
