Today, I heard that a boy in my class had written a song about me. Intrigued, I went to see him perform. I spent 3 excruciating minutes listening to a song about 'the girl of his dreams', his tear-filled eyes staring into mine the whole time. I have to sit next to this freak for the next 2 years. FML

Today, I discovered the guy that sits next to me in class is actually a girl. Not only is that bad, but we had to write a paper about each other. I used the words "him" and "he", and read it to the whole class. FML

Today, my class was interrupted by flowers, balloons and chocolates. Then he sang to me a song he wrote himself. This was all for our one-year anniversary. It probably would have been the best day of my life... if I knew who he was. FML

Today, I had my high school piano recital. The entire time I was playing, one of my classmates sitting up front kept booing me and yelling "YOU SUCK" at the top of his lungs. He drowned out the entire song. FML

Today, I decided to check out my school's quarterback's Twitter, since we have a class together. He wrote, "Dear girl in front of me, I thought you were pretty until you turned around." It was funny, until I realized the timestamp was when we have class together, and I sit in front of him. FML

Haven't you ever had an unrequited crush on anyone, OP? Because that's all that this sounds like, unless of course he's done anything else that's actually creepy, like follow you around or loiter around your locker or tried to stalk you somehow. You don't feel the same way? Fine, but don't be a jerk about it. Let him down easy, be respectful. Now, if he DOES start stalking you, that's a whole different story. But just because he has a crush and wrote a song about it doesn't mean that he will. Not all guys are stalkers-in-training.

The way the FML is written... Well, it's somewhat bitchy. So I am going with YDI. Maybe if you phrase it differently, then most of us would probably have different opinions
