Today, I learned that if you complain to your mom about your future mother-in-law's bitchiness, your overprotective mom might confront her about it and end up punching her in the face. My fiancée blames me for the incident. FML

This is probably a disliked opinion, but kudos to you and having such a mother. Sure what she did was uncalled for and quite immature, but from the context, I see a mother looking out for her daughter and will do anything for her, even if it's punching your future mother-in-law.
