obviously no one should ever drink alone because they say the first thing to go is your judgment. That would be an FML I have no friends so I drank alone then did something stupid and hit someone and got locked up for the rest of my life.
Today, you also learned, that if you are hit by a car while walking on the sidewak, you can sue the drivers ass for all they are worth.

You can sue 'em for all they're worth if they hit you in the street, too. In most such cases, the driver would have had time to stop, or was breaking some other law which directly resulted in an accident. Very rare is the case where a pedestrian darts out into the street in front of a car that is doing the speed limit, has nowhere to swerve to, and is close enough to be unable to avoid hitting the pedestrian.

They deserve it for allowing themselves to indulge in their active, perhaps healthy, lifestyle. They're practically flaunting it by walking along a public road, in their own special designated space. It can make some to become jealous, and sometimes, the rage just takes over, causing such disastrous accidents to occur. YDI for being outside, walking, allowing yourself to be seen, not being super human, not being short enough to simply go under the car, and not carpooling/taking the bus. [/sarcasm]
