Fire hazard

Today, I was trying to cook a pizza for lunch at my in-laws. I preheated the oven and took my dog out to go potty. I come back in to find the house filled with smoke, the detector going off, and a fire in the oven. Apparently, my mother-in-law left a tray of glass candle holders in it. FML

Today, after meaning to do so for a while, I began cleaning my oven. I sprayed it with the foam cleaner stuff, closed the oven for the foam to soak in, then forgot about the whole thing. Later, I preheated the oven for a pizza and triggered a smoke alarm, which brought the fire department to my door. No pizza, just shame. FML

What is wrong with you people? How is that even funny at all? and how is is the kids fault? You SHOULD check the oven first of all and how do you NOT hear a bunny squeal or hop around. You people do realize that the bunny was a LIVE animal right? This world really has gone to shit if you think it's funny that an anmial was burned alive.

Why does everyone keep saying you should check the over! Who the hell checks the over before they preheat it. What would you possibly be checking for, no one expects their dumbass kids will put a rabbit in the oven. And again she was PREHEATING which takes a while, she more than likely wasnt in the kitchen to hear it scream. I Agree is a FML for the bunny :( but this is in no way a YDI

That happened to me once, minus the bunny. In Home-Ec, a kid put a rolling pin in the oven and five minutes after we started to preheat, my teacher pulled a flaming pin out from behind this girls head.

If you'd done some e-research about rabbits you'd have worked out pretty quickly that they actually make really terrible pets for kids and basically are extremely mentally and physically delecate creatures that should really not be given to kids EVER
