Today, I lent my sister $1000 because she and her husband were in some debt. They used the money to go gambling in Vegas and won a major jackpot. They won't even give me a cut. FML

Today, I placed $20 in a slot machine at a casino and in a matter of 5 minutes lost it all. My sister then sat at the same machine, put her $20 in and quadrupled her money. FML

Today, I went to the casino and put $500 into a game and lost it all. I tried another $100 and won it all back, plus some. Instead of walking out ahead, I kept trying to hit bigger and ended up losing all my rent money. Rent is due and now I can’t pay it. FML

Today, and for the past 2 years, my aunt has owed me money. She just admitted that she fell for a scam, and gave the scammer more than double the amount I'd loaned her. I felt bad for her… until I realized something. When I asked how she had it to give to them, but not to pay me back, she got mad and hung up on me. FML

Just keep going over to her house and whenever they aren't looking take 20 dollars from their wallets. If you do it everyday for a year you'll get 7,300 dollars, if you do it every week for a year you'll get 1,040 dollars. I would try everyday if I were you.

124- if I had $1001 saved and my brother asked me if he could borrow $1000 cause he was short on bills, I would loan it as long as my own bills were paid. It would be a big hit, however. Don't assume OP isn't in a similar situation. People who love their families will do anything to help them. That being said I'd expect to be paid back quickly, and that would be a term of the loan, and if he pulled a stunt like what happened to OP I'd be taking him to court.
