I'd laugh at you too OP :P
To be honest I'm sure you're not the only one... and now you have an interesting story to tell to your family or significant other. There's no shame in being the laughing stock of the family or your friends once and a while... I put the toothpaste on the wrong side of the brush the other day and I'll never live that down in the eyes of my father. Or there's the time where I told my at-the-time girlfriend that I was "going to get my tubes tied" after two kids. Those stories still haunt me in a funny, light-hearted way.
That guys a jerk. At least you know about the door now.
Exhaust all options before crying for help!
Why did you walk out of your dorm room shoe-less and in a bathrobe in the first place?
Ouch! That is seriously awkward. But then again, it is kind of your own fault. Don't panic that soon and first try every option you have. Or else, you'll get into these kind of situations again...
What's wrong with walking around in bare feet?
I think most guys would agree that we would break the door down before asking someone else for help.
Some people feed on the misery of others, I find that reprehensible.

No, no it doesn't.
Good job.
