First, I don't know what degree you received. I can assume a lot of degrees, some of which are worthless. So your first sentence means nothing. Second, the unpaid intern is a choice and not a life sentence which can be corrected at any time if you so chose. Third, you enjoy what you do (tedious labor). Fine, no one cares what makes you happy. Seems like you are whining that you enjoy something that you see is beneath you and you aren't getting paid for it. Either choose to get paid for it somewhere else or choose to do something that doesn't make you happy. This doesn't seem like a real FML, rather you seem like a whiner.

There's nothing wrong with doing something you enjoy. But, there is something wrong with continuing to do it without pay. No offense OP, but that sounds like a pretty sucky internship. I would have been pissed if either of my internships were like that. But hey, you liked it, and that's what matters.

That's not a bad job. Could be worse. And you enjoy it! All you need to do it get a paid version of the job now.

you always have to start somewhere, and work your way up. hopefully you'll enjoy doing something more significant, as well

it's not a FML if you love your job. I am a checkout chick and I love my job. :) I find that it is the simple things in life that makes us happy.

I graduated last summer and have been working unpaid for the last 7 months. My boss charges people £65 an hour for my work. Satan has more of a conscience him.Fml.
