nothings wrong with loving ur job! good for you :)
Soo... I worked as an unpaid intern. You've got to start somewhere. It's like working at a hair salon when you're a newly licensed hair stylist, you have to wash hair and become an assistant before you become a true fully paid hairstylist... the reason I know that is because my wife is a licensed hairstylist. Everybody starts at rock bottom before they get where they want to. There's nothing wrong with folding letters and putting them into envelops. Somebody has to do the job. Would you rather clean toilets? probably not.
It could be worse. You could be like me, a paid intern (well-paid at that) who so far hates his job. Best part of my work is getting free soda. Not-so-good parts include moving accounting files from one box to another, rubber-banding Ethernet cables together, and extreme boredom while my boss is on the phone and I'm left with nothing to do. I'm supposed to be an IT intern.
I totally feel you miss, cause I'm doing the exact same thing at my volunteering work. Well, at least it kills time pretty well.
Hey, you can still say something most people can't, which is that you enjoy your work. Maybe if you continue at it, eventually they'll offer you a job. As long as you're doing good and not screwing around or breaking any rules, they'll probably notice you're reliable and effiicient and decide at some point to offer you a paid position. Even if that doesn't happen, it'll look great on a resume and will benefit you in the future, and at least you can enjoy it until you decide to move on from it. keep your chin up, OP. It's not so bad. :)
Well what's the problem? You like doing it.
Hey, do what you like, like what you do
If you enjoy it quit complaining
