Today, I'm seven months pregnant and going to college. I had to use the bathroom, but all of the bathrooms at my building were closed, so I had to walk to the next building, a block away. I didn't make it. FML

Its a well kept secret...but every pregnant woman is entitled to at least one accident per pregnancy. Good for you though for staying in school throughout your pregnancy! That takes commitment and a hefty amount of will power. :)

I know how that feels OP! I've been there once when I was pregnant. Don't sweat it. Just brush it off. Tell people the baby kicked your bladder and it was too late.

Anyone who clicked ydi has no idea how hard it is to hold your bladder with a baby weighing on it. Congrats on the baby and good luck in school!

Oh man I feel your pain ): some moments in pregnancy absolutely suck but when your holding your precious baby in your arms it'll all be worth it !

Control your kid and tell it to quit kicking you in the bladder then!

I know what you were trying to do but... it just didn't work.

I misread this and thought you popped out a baby in the street for a moment

Why in the world would they close all of the bathrooms at a college? That just seems like poor logic. In all seriousness though, it's okay, OP. You've got a kid pushing on your bladder, so an accident or two is bound to happen. Nobody can really judge. :)

Well they could've had a plumbing issue and if it's in the right spot it's a problem everywhere

Once i've been in a school where they closed all the bathrooms during lunchtime and until 3 pm for no reason. And i wondered the same thing.

If that were the case, 39, they should have made an announcement over the PA system (if the school has one, which most schools do,) to let the students and staff know about the issue and that they would need to find other restrooms.

Maybe they did and OP just didn't notice. Some people just don't pay attention to them, I never did.

It's a bit hard to not notice a loud voice coming out of a speaker.

Depending on the size of the building, which I assume is pretty big since it's a college, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to have all the bathroom facilities closed. If a building is a certain size, it is required to have accessible washrooms for public use. That is awful what happened, but don't be too embarrassed, it can be common with pregnancies, and is pretty understandable since you're carrying another human inside of you, which is of course going to effect all aspects of your body.

Always bring extra clothes with you just in case :)

I'm not sure what kind of weather you have over there, but in the last term of pregancy skirts are a much safer bet than pants to avoid another mishap like this one. So much more discreet and convenient.

Eh I'm proud of myself for only having one accident when I was pregnant (got locked out of my house). A lot of women end up wetting the bed and whatnot in the 3rd trimester, nothing to be ashamed of when you're getting kicked in the bladder!

What's your address I'll send you some diapers
