That sucks - was she able to do anything about it?
Honestly? You get what you pay for. if you're going into a place that's $20 less than a stylists place that's been around for 20+ years, you're going to get what you just did. Really sucks, but don't risk your hair!
same thing happened to me! I walked into my friends house and she goes "I'm fixing you!"
Ive made this mistake myself but i would never expect this to happen in the hands of a professional. However mistakes like these make you see what you look like with wild hair. I was once orange, and loved it. kept it for months!
Orange isn't bad either, Donald trumps looks orange too.
Strand Test ! Every time! Go to a color specialist. Choosing the right chemicals, shade and tone to go with your hair type and skin is tricky. Add previous chemical use and it gets really complicated fast. Not all salons keep a big array of colors and products in stock to correct every hair situation like a color specialist will. Instead of trying to make what they have work, you'll get the exact product you need for your individual problem. Till then say you wanted a change and rock it and have fun with it. At least you still have hair!
Omg that's terrible! And this sadly is why I choose to do my own hair, I went to a stylist once, she made me buy the dye before I came in, (at a store..) and then did nothing of what I had asked. I ended up having to pay double what was promised, and then I had to go buy the dye again, so I could do it on my own. Guess which one was a better result? Lol
OP, I HAVE BEEN BLEACHING MYOU HAIR FOR 6 YEARS, MY HAIR ISN'T SUPER DAMAGED AND IT'S NOT ORANGE. HMU IN THE MESSENGER AND I CAN TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT TO DO TO FIX IT WITH SIMPLE, AT HOME PRODUCTS. BEEN THERE. DONE THAT....IT IS ALWAYS BEST WHEN LIGHTENING TO GO 2 SHADES AT A TIME THO, SAY YOUR A DARK BROWN/4N, THEN GO TO A MEDIUM BROWN, 6N, THRN MEDIUM BLONDE, 8N. ALWAYS USE SOMETHING WITH A "N" (NEUTRAL) BASE UNTIL YOU GET IT WHERE YOU WANT IT SO U DON'T HAVE ORANGE/GREEN TINTED HAIR. GOOD LUCK. SORRY OP.
She should have known better it takes a while to healthily get your hair from dark brown to blonde but in the meantime you should buy a hair mask the joico reconstructor is a good one and also once a week out coconut oil in your hair and sleep and wash it out in the morning that will help your hair get healthy and try to avoid excessive heat on your hair (I'm a licensed cosmetologist) and have gone through something not quiet similar lol
That's your fault though because that means you previously dyed your hard the dark brown color. It's a process to get all that dye out of your hair so you should have expected it to turn out orange. I know through experience, it's not the stylist fault. But for frying your hair off he/she's stupid

The Donald Trump looks.
Haha that sucks. Demand for a refund. No one should pay for that
