Today, I met a guy online. We talked all night long and hit it off amazingly. He told me he'd never felt that way about anyone else, and I agreed. He sent me a picture and he was gorgeous. I sent him one after he assured me he didn't care what I looked like. I haven't heard from him since. FML

Today, I was chatting with an amazing guy online. He was perfect for me. After five hours he told me he loved me and I said it back. So than we decided to trade nudes. I sent mine. Within two seconds my niece calls, laughing her ass off, telling me how weird my birthmark is. FML

Today, I went on a date with someone I've been talking to online for weeks. Unfortunately, it turns out they'd used old photos and misrepresented themselves, and I didn't find them attractive at all. Even I'm not that desperate. We ended up having an awkward dinner and I couldn't wait for it to be over. FML

Today, I was talking to a guy I met online and have known for 4 years. I've fallen in love with him twice, one of those times being currently. He was supposed to visit this summer. I got an email from him saying he's really a 17 year old girl from Chesterfield, MO. FML

I completely agree with #21. I've meet people I've never met online through my social networking such as facebook and so forth. #77, the world we live in revolves around technology and many teens, young adults socialize online nowadays. also what "gorgeous" means to her may not mean the same to you. lol. hell, just concentrate on your education and career atm. once you make money, get plastic surgery if you aren't satisfied with your looks. xD just keep in mind, beauty captures your attention but personality captures your heart.

i disagree with #16. gorgeous people do use online dating sites, all the time. even gorgeous people have a hard time meeting people in everyday situations, maybe they're horribly shy or something. I dont think I'm that bad looking, but im kind of shy and have a tough time meeting people irl. However, online dating services have not yet proved to me as a good way to meet people...99% of the time (give or take) it does turn into disappointment because the guy says he "cares" and wants a "long term relationship" and as soon as you start "dating" and he gets into your pants hes done. **** and chuck my friends...has happened to me and people I know. Dont fall for it!! I do agree that not ALL men are pigs...however I would like to say that MOST are...at least..MOST of them that I've met...and thats including the non-online ones. Its very tough to meet people that arent total douche bags these days.

93, the fml team requires us to say 'today' at the begining of our fmls poster, AWWWW im sorry....think on the bright side...maybe he didnt send you a real picture. maybe he was a molestor maybe he was a werewolf and gonna eat you! but yeah find someone else :)
