Today, I met my biological father for the first time. He seemed to be slightly intoxicated from the outset, and less than half an hour later, he had tried to intimidate me into "loaning" him several hundred euros for reasons he wouldn't tell me. So long, "dad". FML

Witty response? None. That sucks ass and I know from experience how disappointing that is.

Yeah hunny it's called thinking she's better than her scumbag father who hasn't been in her entire life so **** you asshole have some compassion

Mmm hunny. If it's good enough for Winnie the Pooh it's good enough for me.

Makes you realize that your Mom had a "stupid moment" or two way back then, eh?

My daughters dad has never seen her for his own reasons and it's stories like this that reminds me that there are reasons for everything.

Good job :). He doesn't deserve anything from you or the right to be called a 'father'. Smh.

I too have a piss poor excuse for a father.

Just because he is your father doesn't mean he's your dad. Sorry you had to learn that the hard way OP.

Sometimes it's better that the dad isn't present. Especially if he isn't a good role model. OP was probably lucky to not have that man in her life. She seems to have done well without him being there.

Hey, wouldn't it have sucked if he turned out to be a great guy and you've missed out on being with him all those years? It's all for the best that he turned out to be a big, fizzy douche!

yeah op. it's good that you opened and closed that door in your life. (so to speak)

My best friend met his father for the first time last year. The guy tried to move in with him, borrow money for drugs, and hit on my friend's wife. The bio dad was taken away in cuffs by the police.

I'm sure he'll pay you back, don't you think?
