I'm sure that they will understand, and let you reschedule! Hope everything works out for the best!
Well technically it's their fault. Hopefully you can reschedule.
Telstra went out everywhere yesterday. At least op gets a free day of data!
Now, Chuck Telstra.
Murphy s law honey!
call them back. showing initiative is probably part of the interview. or you can bitch about it and not get a job. Your choice
For anyone who doesn't know, Telstra owns about 95% of all Australian phone/internet. When they go down (which is surprisingly often) everything goes down.
For you who doesn't know, Telstra doesn't own anywhere near as much anymore, Vodafone and Optus were working perfectly fine each time Telstra has been down recently. Don't know a lot about Optus but a few years ago when everyone had problems with Vodafone it was because they were developing their own network. Hasn't been a single issue since. Everyone used to "piggyback" off Telstra's network but barely anyone does anymore.
And they really think a day of free data is going to make up for this happening for the 8th time? Telstra will be losing cutomers
It'll be worked out. If their network was down It'll just be rescheduled. It wasn't your phone service.

I'm sure you can reschedule, don't stress about it
Oh, the irony. Well, hopefully your interviewer will understand the situation. You can reschedule! Good luck!
